My Email from Joe on the new well after our conversation today:

Attached is the Suitability Questionnaire for the Bend Arch Partners I Joint Venture. This will be a two well program focusing on the Barnett Shale formation in North Central Texas. To jog your memory, this is the largest gas formation ever found in the United States and no one knew it existed five years ago. People are equating it to the East Texas Oil Fields of the 1930s to explain the magnitude of the find.



If you remember, Oil America Group is one of the companies that are 100% owned by AMEP or American Energy Production of which you are a stockholder.



Oil America Group’s subsidiary Palo Pinto Corporation will be managing this program.

Nice fella. Not sure if I want to swing the buy in right now, BUT, I know the area and no doubt there's oil and gas there. A LOT of the gas wells in that area are pretty deep wells, 11-14,000 feet. This well is a shallow well for that area, only about 5000 feet (not saying that they're all deep wells). They think they got the goods on 2 upper formations, maybe 3. Haven't seen the prospectus yet, but should be a good seismic report in there. Might be a dry hole, as they all could, but might be another WINNER for this company. Joe seems like a sharp guy, and the company has added TREMENDOUS valuation in the last year. I "might" just get in on this well.
