I'm not sure at all.

I think that Arcam is and has been ramping up production of their three models.

They expect future orders and they have the cash to produce the machines before the orders are finalized (and announced). These are big ticket items and the negotiation of the order details is probably a lengthy process. They wouldn't announce a sale until the ink hit the paper.

During the 3rd quarter conference call Magnus Rene was asked a question from Mark Murphy (Deutsche Bank) about capacity constraints at their present facilities. His response was that they "could squeeze out a system per week."

Why would they wait?
