Well they need to at least have a few "firsts" before telling people they want to lead, when the leader is clearly already on the scene. I can't imagine that they don't know it, but I understand marketing. Creating an image is one thing, but if it makes you ultimately look foolish, then you aren't thinking long term. It could be they are thinking locally. So maybe they have no plans on international sales or permitting MS sales in Japan. A good way to not lead the world...but in Japan, they could be king.
