Indy/sassy, How Do You Decide Inferior?
Sorry, guys it's done all the time. The Romans decided the Christians were inferior. The English decided the French are not only inferior but syphilitic (hence the French Disease). The Germans decided the Jews were inferior and every white nationality in humankind that came to America decided that the Indian populations were inferior.
It would appear that we as a species have the ability to judge inferior at the drop of a hat. Course it is usually to further a political or economic agenda, but there it be.
Last night at PI I posted a message asking if all religions preach Love, why can't we follow the mandate, that all roads lead to the same destination. Not surprisingly I got a plethora of; 'the one thing that Buddhists, Muslims ect. have in common is that they know where the founders of that religion are buried. And a bunch of amens.' Hubris. Oh well, maybe I didn't explain myself well enough.
