My opinion is that it tanked because supply couldn't keep up with demand. As is still somewhat evident. In the real world when supply can't keep up with demand, guess what happens? Shorts get scared they won't make the million tomorrow they were hoping for and abandon ship and come up with every negative connotation they can think of.
