The evidence was thoroughly vetted and presented by the book. That suggests that a civil suit would be a waste of time. If Holder/Oblamer did not step in and have the cop crucified then there is not a good case against the cop. And if that did not happen, then that means it is highly likely that the cop was justified in his actions.

Anyone that says the cop acted inappropriately that was not at the scene or on the grand jury is being irresponsible.

Moral of the story? Don't commit crimes and attack cops.
