I know when Range Resources got rid of fast Eddie not long after buying off preferred shares and redoing debt... the early years of RRC finally took off. (Started low teens, dropped to 2'ish a share before sticking around at 5-6 for like a year then 12-15 then what' up to the 80's before oil drop? Of course they increased proved reserves too and had a problem with name being a new name to the market of a merged two medium companies...
But this is a new director so, who knows... time will tell.
Oh, and they brought in a replacing Ivy Leaguer... Harvard grad to replace fast Eddie (if I remember right)... Don't let the RRC old buyout rumor mill trick you they have a deadly poison pill to prevent buyouts.... That's bad... but when they (msg board postings) con people to thinking it could be a buyout target... well nill factor. I've not read BECC info,... does Breitling prevent T. Boone Pickens form raiding?
