If EU sales really begin to ramp up, my explanation might be plausible.
It is amazing how long the approval process takes to get even new forms or routes approved.
I have been a migraineur since 1993. My migraines seemed to stop in September 2013, but returned in June 2014. Imitrex (sumatriptan) was developed by GSK. It was introduced in a single-dose injection form on 11/28/92. A 50mg tablet was approved 6/01/95. A single-dose nasal spray was later approved on 8/26/97. Needless to say, it took almost five years from the first FDA approval to get a nasal spray. The drug has been available as a generic for some time now.
