Only a fool would not find out what the public sentiment is about a security...and the MM companies are not fools.

MMs are driven by greed, within a wide latitude of discretion given to them by the SEC. Their name says it all - Market Makers... They are legally given the right to manipulate the PPS of all stocks.

They pay people to bash, and they pay people to promote... NO, they will not read all the posts, but might read enough of them to observe overall tendacies, sentiment, etc.

It has been my experience in Research and Development to explore all avenues that can give me enough information to come to a definitive conclusion. MM companies are in the DD business...and skimming over message boards can provide some good DD as to how they are going to manipulate the PPS...and in what direction...as complainers are more apt to get weak hands and allow the MMs to pick up some easy shares, etc.

Each is entitled to his own opinion... JMHO, of course, FWIW
