But would a manufacturer be willing to enter any type of agreement with us if we don't have the patent? What kind of consideration do we plan on giving them in exchange for manufacturing the cell?
My guess would be a percentage of cells sold.

If you were a manufacturer would you agree to make a product for a company if they didn't have a patent on it? Sure the patent is on the way but there is no guarantee that it will be granted. (I believe it will).

Jim said in an email to a board member here back in October 2013 that the patent had to be granted in order to love forward. I believe this is still the case. Once the patent is granted I believe the pilot run will announced in the same PR.
