Are you kidding? The purpose of filing a Notification of Late Filing is specifically to provide for the grace period, so of course they use it...at least they are SUPPOSED TO. Unfortunately the company that your Advisor is from didn't always do that. The 5 day grace period for a quarter turned into 7 or 10.
In the case of Top Shelf CEO Pierce seems to have ignored his mentor's precedents and chosen not to file a Lateness Notification at all.
It's funny, really. He brings in an advisor with a bad filing history who, according to you, is brought in to provide filing advice, and then proceeds to exhibit filing habits that are even worse than the Advisor's.
ps. A failure to report revenues really shouldn't be described as "just noise". I know you aren't accustomed to them, but revenues are important.
