Good for you bro and good luck to you. I like to think of the board as a family with different posters playing their role. I'm the 'gut' type. The shoot from the hip on instinct so take this with that grain of salt.

I'm sure these things are tested and built to with stand above average waves but, just like anything 'acts of God' are just that and will destroy this just like it would anything else. I don't think you can get accolades for designing things that a rain storm would destroy. But I think it important to know that it is cheaper to build/rebuild than other technologies out there. GLTA
