Does anybody understand HOW BIG THIS IS!! Forget for a moment that restoring eyesight was even possible with these cells. That the only positive the trials were looking for was if these cells would stop someone from going blind. How do think the public and Wall Street would perceive this? With a yawn? ACTC can stop the progression of sight loss? This is not HUGE? With early diagnosis of AMD and SMD this procedure would be used by ALL inflicted with these diseases, thus preventing serious loss of vision. Tell any or all of them that would not be outstanding! Don't let anyone tell you this trial NEEDS TO PROVE eyesight restoration back to 20/20 to be successful. That is BS. It would be an EPIC accomplishment in science and VERIFY the validity of stem cell use. That is not say that eyesight restoration would not be the GRAND SLAM, but halting progression of this disease would be a three run homer.
