1. He didn't think that the company had a chance and it wasn't worth putting more of his funds into trying to fix it.
2. It really didn't matter to him that it needed repaired and was not running because the businesses they are working with on making sales already had their plastic run and tested (like reported) and already saw what they needed, so it did not matter in order to make the sales of new processors.
He proved that scenario #1 was not right, so I have to believe that #2 is in play.
