than anything ARM licensees are close to producing



That is true today. We don't know what Qualcomm has planned for the future.

They mentioned servers in their analyst day meeting - so this could be anything on the spectrum of performance. They also mentioned a 15 billion dollar TAM for 2020 in a nebulously defined 'integrated cloud'.

It is interesting that a company with 30 billion in the bank is now trying to compete with Intel in their core markets.

It's possible (and perhaps even likely) that they will fail hard, but what happened to the paranoia?
