IND or NDA?
On the CC, several time it was stated that an IND application was submitted to the FDA. An IND is an Investigational New Drug, also known as a Phase 1 trial. If they were submitting for commercialization, they'd have file an NDA (New Drug Application). I guess we really don't know where the FDA will go with this(as suggested by the CC), but it's certainly doesn't seem to be the slam dunk everyone thought it would be. My thought is that it will be approved, but when and how much it will cost is anyone's guess.
