I'm not a short but easier to make money being short than long especially with volatility and especially in otcs, once you see stocks with large gains (typically fluff stocks ) they top out and drop like an elevator , shorts come on to message boards like nates for example and start making whatever claims they can . Usually with a "warning " to make you think its out of the good of their hearts lol , but they shout things like dilution , no revenues , scam pum and dump..... 95 percent of the time it works and if my account would let me short I would rather short 98 percent of stocks on otc than be long . But I imagine two main things are used for finding these stocks : a) check out the ihub hot stocked board and checking for large triple digit gainers ..... The gains pay for the losses but as long as the buy stops are set tightly above tight resistance (in this case 18.5-18.90) resistance . Hope this explains why certain people on this board are Doing what their doing ... Shorts are relentless after hours too
