Deborah, depending upon your goals, once plenty of volume comes into play here,
most here who would actually have exit strategies at stages would use charting.

I personally use 20,50,200 period EMA's along with a couple of other
indicator's to make those types of trading decisions.

I use a 10 minute chart for day trades, and then use Daily charts for
longer-term decision making as well as weekly charts, i.e. Trend Trades, Long-Term Trades etc.
