As I do see what point you’re trying to make , I also think that over 10,000 dollars invested is a big deal to most people.

If you are trying to compare this CFO to a Fortune 500 company then the shares bought and amount paid would be questionable. But for a startup and what the CFO gets paid and the constant watching of every dollar right now, I would say this sends a strong signal they believe the shareholder value will increase in the future.
