So while in my Local Best Buy tonight I ask the sales rep what he knows about UltraFlix and he immediately knew of the name and proceeded to talk about the this unique app that has in HIS WORDS "the most 4K content available and adding aggressively"! The interesting part of that to me is not the most content but when I asked how he knew that he tells me the "Sony Reps" frequent the store and give them the updates. I said you mean they talk about UltraFlix? Yes he says they are the ones that introduced UltraFlix to Best Buy people. Seems to me Sony is got much more game in this then we know.
He also gives insight to the concept that the Nuvola has already become a second thought as virtually every 4K tv they sell now has the ability to stream 4K internally through software so IMO the Nuvola NP-1 has a bigger need for last years 4K TV's. UltraFlix obviously has become the focus of NTEK's future sooner rather then later.
Also a worthy mention while in my local Costco they have completely sold out of the Vizio P series 70" 4K TV's. When asking the sales rep when they will get more he tells me they will triple the inventory of those TV's starting with 15 new arrivals the 21st of this month. The demo/display tv would not be sold as this tv is Costco's fastest selling tv so it was pulled off to the side until the 21st.
FACT: NTEK has picked some real winners to be associated with!
