NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 10/10/14 -- (OTCQB: VGTL) -- As shipments of 4K TVs continue to swell, VGTel - 360 Entertainment & Productions announced today that it has acquired the digital-scan and distribution rights to the Kieth Merrill-directed, Giant Screen 4K film Zion Canyon: Treasure of the Gods.

"The procurement of another film like Zion Canyon: Treasure of the Gods demonstrates our commitment to aggressively satisfy the demand of our licensors and UHD broadcasters," said Greg Wells, CEO of VGTel - 360 Entertainment & Productions.

Viewers of Zion Canyon vicariously enter the recesses of slot canyons, experience flash floods and hang with climbers by their fingertips as they are immersed into Bryce National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, and Monument Valley of the Navajo Nation. The movie was directed by the award-winning Merrill, who was critically acclaimed for his direction of Amazon, produced specifically for the Giant Screen IMAX film market.

"Consumer uptake is accelerating, because average selling prices of existing 4K sets are continuing to drop," Wells said. "Electronics giants like Samsung and LG are marketing 4K aggressively. We expect that 4K Ultra HD-capable TVs will be in more than half of North American households in the next 10 years. That's a faster adoption curve than what we saw with HDTV."
