Seriously- I don't see that happening. Simply because we are all tapped out. WE meaning the US taxpayer.

Major cities that are terror targets might have some chances from within their own budgets, but the biggest perps inside the USA are crazy US citizens. You would think that every state police barracks would have 2- 150s for those suspicious things that you do not want to touch. Nope. Little to no funds until the officers pension fund is fully funded.

So while I would file that "sector" in the Possible Available Market I would add a note, the last market to tap. Further, swabbing is so lame and quite frankly it does not merit a full layer within tsa' system of operations. ( full layer= metal detector "doorway" you walk thru with your belt and shoes off). Currently swabbing is in on supplementary basis. You have something odd in your carryon- it gets a swabbing, your passenger #205- you get a swab, you refuse an ait-swabb it.

To my thinking, the world is awaiting a real high resolution non-contact solution that instantly delivers the results and has very limited expendables. Further, configuring it for many platform extensions is a real money maker, in my view.

Think about that guy in the back room in the cargo dept. trying to keep up with 4% of all packages going out the back conveyor-- he has about 200 swabs in his pocket and he is going nuts. My bet, he is also missing things in greater quantity than we imagine. Automate that function and price it accordingly- sold before its certified by tsa. Get that into testing before end of June. This should be the marching order for the R/D division, in my view.

Best of Better LUCK to all IMSC LONGS!
