You must fall in the other 27%:

"No, 4k really doesn't benefit anyone. Who sits close to their tv? I sit almost 20 feet away from my tv. 4k wouldn't do a thing for me"

Three-fourths (73 percent) of online U.S. adults who saw Ultra High-Definition TV (Ultra HDTV) technology in a retail store are interested in owning the technology at some point in the future, while only 34 percent of people who did not see the technology are interested in ownership, according to research released today by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®.

I've noticed that most of the videophiles and those who obsess over specs and frame rates, etc. I've read online have a great deal of difficulty admitting that 4K simply looks better and that regardless of all the numbers they put out there, we are on our way to widespread, mass 4K TV adoption.

4K TV is progressing waaaaaay faster than expected.
