The did a deal with Handpay and China rewards back in 2011, Handpay was a 'strategic' partner with China Union Pay. MONIF also accompanied UK Prime minister to Hong Kong in Dec 2013 to sign deals with HK Bank etc but not sure what the penetration has been. Obviously Apple name icon has a lot of clout but their mobile Apple Pay platform has a lot of catching up to do I reckon. JMO
