I-tap's key fab is a brilliant product that integrates into their tap and point of sale system.

Your pictures really don't look anything like what I-Tap has. Those look like commercial vending machines built by a professional company not some garage startup that all we can locate on I-Tap is a UPS store mailbox. The equipment that we have seen for I-Tap looks like a cheap Chinese stage prop placed on a standard Keg-o-rator. That is a far cry from a key fob operated system

So when the question is asked why would BUD buy the I-tap if they literally lose due to less waste of product???

Here is your fallacy on that thought and why it makes no difference to Anheuser Busch. Alcohol is a highly regulated business. Breweries sell to distributors and distributors sell to retailers. Walk down to your local Anheuser brewery and ask to buy a six pack. You will be laughed out of the town on that. It is the retailers that stand to gain here not Anheuser. Anheuser is not going to furnish equipment other than standard taps to the retailers. Anheuser would lose here because bartenders could not free pour. That is where 90% of your overage is lost. With a regulated pour system your waste is more controlled. This would be of concern to the retailer not the manufacturer or distributer.

Well how much more will they sell having self serve beer at events where consumers are using pre loaded key fabs?

That would be determined by what the retailer is willing to spend on the equipment because Anheuser or the distributors is not going to fork over an expensive piece of equipment to bolster the retailers bottom line. Just an average system for portion control from legit companies that have real products out there can run between $4 and $6 grand and that doesn't have a self serve feature, just portion control at the tap head.

Face facts I-Tap is a dead issue. HALB has moved on from that scam. HALB is attempting a fleecing in the MMJ sector now.
