Jeff: when he says long term I donot think he means the long expiry options like 6 or 9 months out or LEAPs. Most of his trades have an expiry of 1.5 to 3 months b/c the time premium decays the fastest in the last 1.5 month before expiry and allows you to maximize your gain even if the stock doesn't move much or even move the other way slightly you still make money b/c the premium has shrunk in the mean time.
