I would guess whoever at OTC who sets up a ticker (and coordinates it w the canadian exchange) charges a small fee for any broker who wants to trade in that ticker, so demand (volume) has to be there for it to be worthwhile. Who knows, maybe i will call up fidelity and pester them. They have always been pretty straight w me. Ie they advised me to buy twmjf and not twd because the trading fees were lower for me and i wouldnt have to exchange us for canadian $. My other broker did not give me such good advice.....
