In looking at Joe Shan on LinkedIn, I clicked on Kyle Schlunegger's
(SR. Project Manager at Peregrine Pharmaceuticals
Orange County, California AreaBiotechnology) profile and found his job description probably quite out of date but interesting, nonetheless.

"Senior Project Manager
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals
July 2008 – Present (6 years 5 months)Tustin
Oversee and directed all work required by Peregrine's $32M TMT (DTRA) government contract. Designed animal studies and directed work at BSL3 and BSL4 sub-contract facilities; working with Junin and Ebola viruses."

I wonder where the subcontract facilities are located.

Definition of BSL3 and 4:

A biosafety level is a level of the biocontainment precautions required to isolate dangerous biological agents in an enclosed laboratory facility. The levels of containment range from the lowest biosafety level 1 (BSL-1) to the highest at level 4 (BSL-4). In the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have specified these levels.
