this explanation is right on the money in my opinion

a license is the allowance to run the business as a whole (MUCH BIGGER THAN JUST A PERMIT)
a licensing process will start at the lowest size municipality (city first most of the time, then county, then state)


in colorado , it seems they are licensing at the county level first (for medical mj)


once the overall state license to operate is received then there is the ability to receive permits - in relation to the base operating license that was just achieved

an example would be a restaurant that gets a retail health or liquor license from the city, then needs to achieve that license with their state (they will not receive it from the state without the city/county license first)

just like INCC with prosperous valley,
prosperous valley had to achieve that county license (usually the hardest one to get and they HAVE IT ALREADY, that is DONE !!!!)

so the state license application is dependent on that county license approval (the state already can see that prosperous valley has the COUNTRY LICENSE - DONE!!)

once they have a state license, now they can operate (grow medical mj)

once the business has an operating license, they may want to construct a sign off of the building

the sign would need a permit

they may want to have an outdoor patio on the city sidewalk (if its a restaurant)

the outdoor patio would need a permit

they may want to construct a change in the design inside the restaurant or inside a grow facility- that would need a permit (although sometimes this permit will come before the operating license depending on the timing of everything)

this is the way of it , in most municipalities throughout the country



so with INCC

licenses will be needed to operate,
and permits for ancillary things pertaining to the business (permits for additional plants for example)

IN THE last PR they are talking about permit FINALIZING, so they are dealing with companies that most likely ALREADY HAVE LICENSES - which could mean - IMMEDIATE REVENUE for INCC

REMEMBER - INCC has a CONSULTING SIDE to their business - THEY HELP OTHER GROWERS move through the licensing and permitting PROCESS - with the city, county, and state - they charge CONSULTING FEES for this work

so if DREW is helping finalize these permits for other companies, that is not a FREE service that DREW is offering - that is PART of the revenue stream that INCC has positioned themselves to bring in as income

all in all, its all positive forward moving things

but this should also explain that these things DO NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT - to all of you impatient people that want to be RICH overnight - i feel for you - municipality licensing is a paper intensive business as many of you have seen with the 50+ pages of documents that you had received from Chaffe county when properous valley received their county license

so again the question becomes, are you going to invest before all of these things happen

or will you wait until after all of these things happen

i, like many here, i like to be invested before they achievements are announced

and yes, they could never be announced, but that is the risk we take

im happy with it . . .
