SandMan, hospitals that are eager to get into the robotics field will most likely go with TransEnterix's SurgiBot, which will be approved for a number of indications and only cost $500,000. I'm sure they would have considered the SPORT but not anymore given the delay to mid 2017. Unless they want to wait that long.

There are other reasons why they would want the SurgiBot, mostly because it has 100% tactile feedback as opposed to ZERO tactile feedback from both the SPORT and Da Vinci. Not to mention it's a patient side robotic platform, which is what surgeons who are not experienced with surgical robots (about 2/3 of surgeons have yet to learn robotics) want, because that is what they're used to.

On another note, I hope the moderators can reshuffle that timeline on this board, it's quite inaccurate!

And on a final note, I really hope HoneyComb is ok....seriously
