Nope no one uses pods it's a joke one reason is since different strains have different growing characteristics like some grow tall some bushy some lanky some need pruning you would never be able to size a pod to meets the needs of all the different strains. Not possible.

Also the yield would be terrible

The enclosed space would actually promote mold and bacteria

What else.......
