Nowak- yes indeed, yesterday's short sale #s were revised. However much they may be off, it still points to a bigger picture. You can see the sells easily enough and you can watch level 2 easily enough, those are the basis for my story of yesterday.
In terms of dmrj being a seller- no doubt. Easily and they should, they want to be paid. But if you believe that, and you do, you also have to believe that dmrj would never get in the way of stock appreciation. They have to be a strategic-seller also. And it that is true, they could be a strategic short seller when something drops out of the blue.
But yesterday's action was some DMRJ but also a bigger player holding the price in a depressed range. MMs job is NOT to hold a stock in range if they don't have an order to fill. Now a smart strategic acquisition would be made in pieces and not as a huge fill.
