Why would Vizio do this? Vizio senior product manager John Hwang surprised me with his blunt answer: “It’s a bug,” he said in an interview. The firmware software that Vizio began shipping with its P-Series TVs last month applies an extremely high—and erroneous—level of sharpening to all images, he said.
“We are working on a firmware update that corrects that issue, among others,” said Mr. Hwang, who didn’t have a timeline for its release.

I don't know that ANY apps will be added to the P Series (i.e. Ultraflix), until this issue is resolved.
