Talked to Joe James today and he is very positive and excited about the Allendale pilot torrefaction plant and said "if all things he's working on fall into place, torrefaction activity will commence Q1, 2015." He is happy that ATP-SC's "sub-tenant Thunderbolt Biomass, has commenced it's construction of a small wood pellet plant on ATP-SC's site." This means that Thunderbolt management and staff will be able to provide the assistance to ATP-SC that they agreed to provide, as the VEGA/ATP-SC plant becomes operational.

I have also learned from Thunderbolt CEO Knox Grant that progress is being made on the construction and that they have received the steel for the building since I was there Oct. 24th! As per Mr. James, they are an "integral part of ATP-SC plans at Allendale" and if required, can supply the Vega/ATP-SC plant with a drier biomass feedstock "allowing us to produce more torrefied material per hour".

Bottom line: Things are looking up and 2015 is seeming a lot brighter than it did when I visited the site 3 weeks ago!! A LOT brighter!!

Go Vega/ATP-SC!
