I think that there was an X2 demo in Japan or Taiwan late in
2005. The photos were posted here a few times.

What will be more interesting to see is if AMD responds to the
Pentium 4/D price cuts. My guess is that they won't bother in
their midrange products as they have the products that people
want.

I'm looking at an HP 4400+ X2 desktop right now for about $1200
that comes with 2 GB of memory (expandable to 4) and is generally
nicely configured. I'd love it if AMD drops the prices on the
processor but I don't think that they will on that particular
part. Or the 4200 or 3800 as they appear to be very popular
right now.

BTW, I do recall getting laughed at in March when I posted that
Intel will start a price war (I read it from some site). It
appears that rumors can be true.
