Beamer, doesn't AMD use a proprietary version of HyperTransport called cHT for Opteron? It's likely that all of the cool new features for HyperTransport 3.0 won't make it into cHT until later. After all, hot-plugging CPU nodes with DRAM on them isn't exactly an easy thing to implement.
