It has been 26 days from 60---any updates from your government?

All is well, it is just the genetic modifications in the Ebola host that may turn out to be a bag of,...pleasant surprises?

Ebola virus appears to grow stronger as more genetic modifications take place

What the findings of this study suggest is that the introduction of filovirus into mammals causes genetic changes similar to those induced through intentional modification of genes in food crops like soy and corn. Ebola, in a sense, is the pathogenic equivalent of a Monsanto scientist who quietly enters the body and triggers genetic changes that in this case lead to death.

As demonstrated in the study, the new proteins generated as a result of the Ebola-induced RNA changes are directly associated with the disease's virulence, presumably meaning that the more they're produced, the worse the infection. These genetic changes, in other words, give the virus a footing and allow it to become progressively stronger the more these genes are altered.

With this in mind, Shabman expressed that figuring out how these proteins are made, in as much detail as possible, is "of great interest."

"We infer that this probably contributes to how the virus grows in a person or an animal," added Christopher F. Basler, Ph.D., senior author of the study and professor of microbiology at Mount Sinai's Icahn School of Medicine.

The frightening implication here is that GMOs may themselves act as a type of virus inside the body, altering normal genetic expression and causing illness and even death. Though the full consequences of GMOs on human health are still largely unknown, no long-term studies proving their safety ever having been conducted, a growing body of independent science points to major adverse effects from GMO consumption.

Important Facts You Need to Know About the Ebola Outbreak

Ebola is a so-called hemorrhagic fever with a long incubation period of up to 21 days. Both factors are important. The hemorrhagic part means that victims typically begin bleeding internally soon after getting the disease.

Ebola kills quickly — so quickly that entire villages in sub-Saharan Africa where most outbreaks have occurred die off before the disease can spread to another village, thus containing it. But the long incubation period means that someone infected with Ebola may not know it for weeks, and during that time, he or she may infect many others.

post-Ebola syndrome...

“We are seeing a lot of people with vision problems,” Dr. Margaret Nanyonga, a psycho-social support officer for WHO, said at a conference in Sierra Leone last week. “Some complain of clouded vision, but for others the visual loss is progressive. I have seen two people who are now blind.”

Approximately 50 percent of Ebola survivors she has treated in Kenema, Sierra Leone’s third-largest city, report declining health after fighting off the deadly virus, Nanyonga said. Besides deteriorating vision, they are complaining of body aches, chest pain, headaches and fatigue. This is consistent with symptoms experienced by survivors in previous outbreaks, she said.

“We need to understand why these symptoms persist, whether they are caused by the disease or treatment, or perhaps the heavy disinfection,” she said.

We know so much about Ebola virus infection and aftermath that, why not chance it with self-quarantine instead of mandatory quarantine?

Dr. Nancy Snyderman, Ebola-exposed NBC News crew violates self-quarantine, placed in mandatory isolation

In a deal with the CDC and the New Jersey Health Department, the NBC News crew agreed to stay home and take their temperatures for 21 days after one of their colleagues was diagnosed with the virus. At least one of the crew members broke that order, prompting health officials to make their confinement mandatory. The team was reporting on the Liberian Ebola outbreak when its cameraman fell ill.

And why is the government overreacting??? What, are they paranoid or something???

CDC stockpiling Ebola gear even as national press goes dark on Ebola news

Control and Prevention is ramping up its acquisition of protective gear for U.S. hospitals that may have to handle Ebola patients, following a "sudden increase" in demand on its current national stockpile.

The federal health agency said in a November 7 statement that it is ordering an additional $2.7 million in personal protective equipment that will eventually be fashioned into 50 kits that can be deployed rapidly to hospitals if or when needed.

As reported by Reuters:

Triple the number of people being monitored in NYC than reported

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Big Apple, NBC 4 New York reports that health authorities are monitoring "triple" the number of people initially reported as being watched for the virus:

The vast majority of those being monitored arrived in New York City within the past 21 days from the three Ebola-affected countries, the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation said in a statement.

Included in those being monitored -- understandably -- are all the healthcare staffers who are taking care of Spencer.

Meanwhile, the mainstream media has agreed not to report new suspected cases of Ebola infection, ostensibly in response to a government request. But that should surprise no one; the media is complicit in just about everything Big Government asks of it (if the right party is in the White House, of course).
