For those saying the results are in, that the results are poor, and that K can not be used as a single agent - I agree with those who say it's way too early to say that. We haven't reached high enough doses, nor heard all the results. This study also is not powered to show efficacy.

For those saying the results are in, and that K has shown efficacy - I agree with those who say it's way too early to say that! Even in advanced pancreatic cancer, the median PFS is like 3-4 months. That means that 50% of the time, tumor will be stable for 3-4 months before it grows. To say that one patient showed "stabilization" over 4 cycles of K, well, this is expected to happen 50% of the time. We really need more data to say anything.

There may be some hints of efficacy thus far, but again, it's really way too early to say anything definitive. We need more Phase I K data, and more likely might have to wait for the various Phase II studies to really know. Both sides believing pro/con efficacy will probably not like to hear such an opinion.
