TOX testing scenarios and timelines for other drugs to treat short-term, acute illnesses like Flu appear to be generally short. The information I have read during periods where I have researched this topic indicates that most such drugs have a TOX testing period of 6-9 months.

This is a fact. Yes, some drugs do require longer, but a less than 1 year period would appear to be the norm.

Tox testing for normal drugs is begun with enough of the drug to actually do the tests. The manufacturing of Flucide appears to be somewhat more difficult than landing a man on the moon. So while I would not go so far as Rawnoc in saying that tox can't be done by the end of 2015, I'd say the odds are pretty good that in fact, tox won't be completed in 2015. For it to be otherwise NNVC would have to increase production of Flucide by more than a factor of 10 in less than a year. That's not impossible, but then, neither is it impossible for me to win the Powerball lottery.
