The CSP will be its own separate entity outside FNMA,FMCC.

They are creating this entity to ensure FnF both use the same offering mechanism to offer their securities for purchase.

Both currently do it separately using different methods.

This is one of the few things everyone could agree on that needed to be done.

The Common Security is basically going to be the same thing as the securities offered today by each company. They are just standardizing the security so both FnF are offering the same thing.

In essence they are creating their own private exchange for offering FnF Securities. The CSP is this exchange.


Its a common misconception that the CSP is the new FnF. Several media sources fail to understand this and do not report it accurately
