When I graduated from high school it was around $5.

This chart is adjusted for inflation so the further back you go, the higher the adjustment. But the important part to take note of is that oil goes up and oil goes down.

SD has already sold most of 2015 production north of $90. The key is not today's tick on the oil price, it has more to do with SD's ability to fulfill the volume on contracts already sold and not be taking penalties for failure to deliver.
