Hal, As an intended long term holder of QTMM, (your intent)

my initial take of the news release is that IMO, a company would not quadruple its current lab space if it did not feel
confident that possible revenue would be forthcoming soon? (1 to 4 months?) (your opinion)

However, I too thought that QTM already had resolved all or most of the NHM kinks and were ready for the safer (NHM) Non Heavy Metal (Cadmium Free dots),
(also your opinion)

Will wait to hear more as a bit disconcerting. (your pov, I like the progress we're seeing and willing to continue to hold)

Seems to imply that once QTMM can efficiently and economically/viablly, produce these NHM QD's that orders 'should'
follow, ( but also seems to imply that some 'bugs' have to be worked out?.
(doesn't matter unless/until specifications/needs/standards are met; then yes, one could expect orders)

Will wait and read the other QTMM IHUB boards (Your decision.)

read the other QTMM IHUB boards to see what others with more knowledge of QTMM think as well. Would appreciate/more input/thoughts as well
(don't get why you ask anything of peeps here when you state peeps on other Ihub boards have more knowledge)

if this NHM production/quality issue for QD's seems to mean a further delay in possible revenue/contracts for QTMM?
(Pure Speculation. What leads you to believe that NHM have anything to do with initial revenue/contracts when CdSe TQDs are their flagship product?
When you have PRs that state samples have been sent, do you think QMC sent them something they weren't interested in or couldn't use?

It's true that early patents (Bayer) have broader coverage, (ie protection), but at this time NHM QDs aren't as efficient nor is their lifetime as long.....but, you know that don't you?

Will wait for more clarity. (Your decision. Of course, you can ask Big E, Jamis........then again a Zen state of mind may provide the clarity you wish)

.....it's never been a question of whether QMC can produce NHM QDs, but whether needs/standards/specifications, (market demands) can be met. The fact that QMC is adding staff to tweak NHM QDs implies,(to me)the need/potential is great enough to do so, some progress most likely has already been achieved, and shareholders may well be pleasantly surprised........IDK when. Parity with CdSe may be a few years out, but that's not to say they aren't close enough to "good enough" for current needs.
