Rooster I dont know what you are talking about? How can the repubs taking the Senate "shut down" the president? He has hardly done a damm thing the way it was with a democratic senate. Harry Reed sat on pretty much everything sent to the senate and did not allow a vote on most. Pretty much nothing ever got to the Presidents desk so how is this change going to shut him down when he has already been in shut down mode?? Hell, he hardly produced a thing even when the dems held the house and senate during his first years.

Nothing is going to change now either rooster. The only difference is the President will now get more things sent to him from the senate to either sign or reject. Your shut down theory holds no water. He and Reed were already in shut down.
