ALL PERSONS RECEIVING NOTICE of this meeting will receive a Notice of Adoption for the official
plan amendment and Notice of Passing for the zoning by-law amendment, including appeal procedures.
Any other person who wishes to receive these notices in respect of the proposed amendments must make
a written request to the Municipal Clerk, Town of Lakeshore, 419 Notre Dame Street, Belle River
ON, N0R 1A0.
IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written
submissions to the Municipal Clerk of the Town of Lakeshore before the official plan amendment is
adopted or the zoning by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of
Council to the Ontario Municipal Board.
IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written
submissions to the Municipal Clerk of the Town of Lakeshore before the official plan amendment is
adopted or the zoning by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the
hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are
reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
