Considering the huge naked short position(s) taken, one would think what's the motive here? Obviously they're very liquid and can absorb risk of a possible squeeze.
Many hedge funds and market makers will naked short on these particular stocks with hype because they're easy too, very abundant, and less noticeable.

From what I heard is that finra is requesting a nobo prior to rs, whether it's standard procedure or not, I wouldn't know. But we will know the accountability of the share count(:
Also a possible case of abusive naked shorting or manipulation of some sort.
