I think Matrix stepped away when they realized that $QEDN had stepped away from EMF. In all honestly, EMF could have worked if all parties involved had done the right things. It was a promising operation and it would have been great to have a legitimate grow operation associated with a publicly traded ticker. Instead, EMF and $QEDN went dark and left shareholders wondering.
