NortFord, LLP acquired during the 4th quarter of 2012 is a partnership owned by Tim Norton and Matt Spafford. That team building upon its network of loyal customer relationships and their combined experience of over 50 years in the transportation industry had a vision of building from within and maintaining hands on experience to direct the new company as they began operations during the autumn of 2012 at their location in Fredericksburg, IA 50630. NortFord purchased two Over-the-Road semi-tractors to start operations, then in November of 2012, they added additional equipment and leasing that equipment to Eggspress Transport, LLP as an over the road refrigerated trucking operation. Today Nortford owns and operates 12 over the road tractors of which 9 are company owned and in addition has 3 Independent owner-operator tractors that pull 15 company owned refrigerated trailers.
