Yes...they could (and should) do that. That is not their history unfortunately.

But it is possible.

The problem I see is that they have already shown their character and they would control all of the information and the books. I don't think they would ever allow us a penny in any case.

I have no humble opinions, but I do have opinions and those are what I express in my posts. BUT...I have been wrong before and likely will be wrong again so do your own research and don't blame me if you are too lazy to do so.
