Hi guys I got some news earlier. Germany financed a treatment center in sierra leone this wednesday with 48 beds and over 25 staff. Seems like sierra leone is now the hotspot as Liberia kind of receeded. Anyways the treatment center (which is basically a fancy white tent) is lead by Uniklik research in Frankfurt and they will treat patients there for a limited period of 3 months (for now). Besides basic healthcare they will treat patients using and i quote:"a japanese and a canadian medication as well as with hemopurifier. They will focus on healthworkers treatment locals and international but will also take in common patients if space permits.
The idea for this center is not to bring workers to germany anymore because of costs incurred to transfer them and isolate them in Frankfurt.
