i reckon that if there is any one thing that brings me happiness in this earthly path that God has continued to allow me to walk it would be on a daily basis doing anything that i can to put a smile on another persons face. To reach out in any way that i can to encourage and uplift someone be they are having a good day or a bad day. Its becomes a blessing when you see someone that you can tell right off the bat is discouraged or lonely or whatever battle they happen to be fighting within that moment in time and to reach out if only with a word of hello and a smile and you see their face brighten up with almost a thank you in their eyes for taking time to acknowledge them....its such an easy thing to do and often times it can be the very thing that turns that persons day around...and...if time permits a handshake or hug and actually a couple words to get a conversation started and then if possible and most importantly...a listening ear to hear what they very much need to get off their chest. Theres and ole saying.."be kind to everyone because everyone is fighting some kind of a battle"...and oh how true that often is. And even if that person is having a good day we can always offer sincere comments to make their day even better. All in all we simply just let the love and light of Jesus flow from us and that so pleases our Lord and Savior! And the cool things about taking the time to lift and encourage others is that the blessing dont stop with them...it ALWAYS comes right back at us in the very same act of kindness and love...Gods just good at doing that and what a awesome feeling that is to get our day brightened just because we took a couple minutes to reach out to someone else...and...when we do that all day long...you can believe that our day is going to be filled with happiness, joy and contentment. i thank God that i know no strangers!
